MiniCip is the answer of FLYZONE to the various requests of space reduction for a propeller automatic control.
Minicip is a microprocessor controntrolled unit able to automatically adjust your electrical variable propeller PITCH.

The system offers the following advantages:

• Improved vehicle performance as it adjusts your propeller pitch so that your engine always follows its best torque curve.
• Optimization of fuel consumtion.
• Improvement of flying safety as the pilot does not have to worry about his propeller, instead he can concentrate of flying his aircraft. The possibility to switch to Manual or Constant Revs mode remains available in case the pilot so desires.

The system can run in four possible modes:

• Takeoff/Landing: System uses the Target value selected in Setup mode for the Takeoff phase. Typically 5800 for ROTAX.
• Manual: The pilot manually adjusts the propeller pitch even in case of microcomputer malfunctions.
• Automatic: The system determines the target revs by following the best torque curve of the engine installed plus it adapts it to the current flying altitude.
• Constant Revs: the pilot sets up the target revs he desires and the system adjusts the propeller pitch to meet such value.
