CIP installs in a standard 3” instrument hole. Now it is available also in 2 ¼ inch hole version.
It controls electrical variable pitch propellers; it has been installed and extensively tested on all types of Rotax engines and, most recently, also on Continental, Lycoming, Limbach, Jabiru and Subaru engines.
This system is patented in Italy with number 1322736 and has been running for about ten years with continuous testing and improvements both hardware and software. The latest versions adopt the SMT (Surface Mounting Devices) technology which allows for a more compact assembly.
